Important: Mini-Manual - Praxis v8 - Dec 12th 2019

Dear Praxis Clients, 
 
We are pleased to announce the release of the latest Mini-Manual for Praxis 8.
 
 
We are currently in the process of completing CMS Certification for this version and we recommend that if you are not already using Praxis 8 this would be a good time to upgrade.  
 
Please notice that in this latest document there are references to the one we released back in October titled "Promoting Interoperability Mini-Manual".  You may access it from the following link:
 
 
Finally, please make sure you have activated the medication formulary if you have not already done so. It is the only way to attest for the e-prescribing measure.  We had provided the 2019 Medicare Formulary, but you are not required to use any specific one, as long as at least one is active in your system. 
 
Currently, we are developing our most ambitious project to date:  the re-engineering of Praxis using the latest Microsoft technology. This is a huge project that we can now safely embark on since leaving the vexing federal government requirements behind us. Praxis will run dramatically faster and better than the current Praxis and as it will use the latest web technology.  We will keep you posted on this exciting work.

Praxis v8 - MIPS\MACRA Compatible

Dear Praxis Clients,

 

As a follow-up on a recent newsletter, Praxis v8 is now available. 

This update is only available to clinics that are looking to report for MIPS|MACRA this year, for the final 90 days.

You will need to have v8 installed before October 1st, so please contact our support staff to coordinate ASAP.

Patient Portal: Duplicate Emails

Dear Praxis Clients,

 

It has come to our attention that some clinics inadvertently may use a single email on more than one patient.

We have made available a query to help you identify if this has taken place. It will display the patients who are using the same email. If you encounter examples, we strongly suggest correcting them immediately.

 

Simply download, unzip, and import the query from this file: http://www.praxisemr.com/downloads/clients_downloads/Duplicate_Emails_Feb-21-19.zip
